The majority of individuals in K-16 environments haven't had specific training in career readiness skills, career counseling, and long term development of workforce readiness. Similarly, teacher preparation programs provide little or no formal training in teaching career readiness and promoting workforce skills in their credentialing programs.
We help individuals become well versed in the theories and practices of career readiness. We train you to not only use the lessons within the curriculum, but to understand the importance of them as well. We'll support you in developing the essential skills you need to ensure your students are given the education and abilities necessary to thrive in life and career.

Each of our trainers have an extensive background in career readiness. They have a deep understanding of the Connect The Work curriculum and can provide suggestions on how to best use the lessons work in any learning environment.
Participants will get the opportunity to explore the various lessons firsthand, including both the general lessons, as well as the primary grade Seesaw lessons They will also examine the graphic organizers and understand how students use these resources to learn and reflect. In addition, participants will identify how to make the curriculum connect seamlessly to academic content.
Participants will delve into the research that supports career readiness to better understand the curriculum design and application. They will become familiar with concepts such as Person/Environment Fit Theory, Social Cognitive Career Theory, and Holland Codes.
Our trainers and curriculum designers are available for continued, follow-up support. This can be done through email or Zoom calls.
